Oracle Environment Variables Path Failed

ในบทความนี้ เรามาดูวิธีแก้ปัญหา Environment Variables Path Failed ซึ่งเกิดขึ้นในการติดตั้ง Oracle กันครับ ซึ่งปัญหาดังกล่าว เป็นดังรูปด้านล่างครับ






และเมื่อกดดูรายละเอียดแล้ว ก็จะมีข้อความดังนี้



Environment variable: "PATH" - This test checks whether the length of the environment variable "PATH" does not exceed the recommended length.


Expected Value : 1023

Actual Value : 1103



 List of errors: 

 - PRVF-3929 : Adding the Oracle binary location to the PATH environment variable will exceed the OS length limit of [ "1023" ] for the variable on the node "Doesystem-PC"

 - Cause:  The installer needs to update the PATH environment variable to include the value "%ORACLE_HOME%/bin;". However, doing so will cause PATH to exceed the maximum allowable length that this operating system allows.

 - Action:  Ensure that the sum of the lengths of your current PATH environment variable and that of "%ORACLE_HOME%/bin;" does not exceed the operating system limit. Restart the installer after correcting the setting for environment variable.


 
ปัญหาดังกล่าว เป็นปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นจากการลงโปรแกรมที่แตกต่างกันจำนวนมาก ดังนั้น เรามาดูวิธีแก้ปัญหากันครับ



1. ให้ยกเลิกการติดตั้ง Oracle ก่อน



2. ให้คลิกขวาที่ My computer แล้วเลือก Properties



3. จะปรากฎหน้าต่างขึ้นมาหน้าต่างหนึ่ง ให้คลิกที่ Advanced system setting






4. จะปรากฎหน้าต่างขึ้นมาอีกหน้าต่างหนึ่ง ให้กดที่ Environment Variables...






5. จะปรากฎหน้าต่าง Environment Variables ขึ้นมา ให้ดูในช่อง System variables แล้วหาคำว่า Path






6. ให้ทำการดับเบิ้ลคลิก คือกดที่ Edit ก็ได้ จะปรากฏช่อง Variable Name กับ Variable Value ขึ้นมา ให้ก็อบค่าในช่อง Variable Value ไปไว้ใน Word หรือ Notepad ก็ได้






7. จากนั้นให้ใส่ค่าไรก็ได้ไปก่อน เช่น d:doesystem






8. จากนั้นให้ทำการ install Oracle ใหม่อีกรอบ



9. เมื่อ install เสร็จแล้ว ก็ทำการก็อบค่าที่เอาไปวางใน Word หรือ Notepad มาไว้ที่เดิม
